This image was a commission from an ad I placed on Craig's List.  The client contacted me and she had 2 photographs, one of each pet.  Unfortunately both of her dogs had died and this is a portrait to remember her favorite pets.  I placed the 2 images on the same canvas referencing the photos the client provided using Acrylic Paint.  Once she saw the painting she started to tear up.
